This is the most commonly used form of connection in the valve. According to the shape of the joint surface, it can be divided into the following categories:

1. Smooth: for valves with low pressure. convenient processing and comparison

2, concave and convex type: high working pressure, medium hard washer can be used

3, tenon and groove type: the gasket with large plastic deformation can be used widely in corrosive medium, and the sealing effect is better.

4. Trapezoidal groove: an oval metal ring is used as a gasket, and a valve with a working pressure of 64 kg/ cm2 or a high-temperature valve is used.
